Yetunde is an internationally accredited Board level Executive Leadership Coach and Managing Director of Synchrony Development Consulting. She is an engaging speaker who draws her insights from her own experiences. She advises business leaders and leadership teams on the cultural and behavioural changes required to underpin the successful implementation of a change in strategy, significant growth and expansion.
Level 3, ICT student, says: "It's not just managers who manage. Every one of us is a manager. I didn't realise that."
Yetunde is a strong believer that love is the key to good leadership and should influence all leadership styles, resulting in empathy, kindness, and authenticity. The session encouraged students to think about how they engage with their peers, family and tutors in a positive way. The key message was that leadership is about who you are, how you relate to each other and being true to yourself.
"It was great for the students to start thinking about the steps to developing their own leadership styles," says Michelle Luckens, Student Placement Team Leader.
