The Erasmus Programme is a project enabling young people to gain experience of working in Europe and give them opportunities to sample the language, cultures, places of interest and history within some of Europe’s top destinations.

Jodie, is a student at our Orpington Campus. She spent her placement working with Fit Village Studios setting up gym classes and instructing clients in a variety of fitness training methods and circuits. She would like to work in a gym when she leaves full-time education and is keen to acquire as much real-world experience as possible. She said: “This trip has been absolutely brilliant and a real eye-opener for me. The work I have been involved in during my time in Florence is very valuable and will look great on my cv. During the summer I am going to be working at Camp America; this gives me another great opportunity to work with real clients, learn another side of the trade and spread my wings even further.”

The College is now busy assembling its next group of students to take part in the Erasmus programme. At present, the programme is available to students in the areas of travel and tourism, sports and public services, visual arts and media.

If you think you have what it takes to become a professional and build a successful career in the travel and tourism, sports and public services, visual arts and media industries, we’d like to hear from you. We have a great range of courses to get you started. Come along to one of our open events during March.
