Over 90% of students at London South East University Centre felt teaching to be of a high standard. In addition, learning opportunities, assessment and feedback, academic support, learning community and student voice were all ranked above the national rate.

Overall satisfaction of London South East University Centre students is 85.95% - comparing favourably to the 83% average of universities around the country.

The national survey is conducted on behalf of the Office for Students. Final year students at universities around the country are questioned about their experiences and the results collated. This enables prospective students to clearly identify universities offering a high standard of provision.

London South East University Centre is part of London South East Colleges, with campuses in Bromley, Bexley, Greenwich and Orpington. It has over 40 career-focused courses on offer, including a range of flexible degree courses and professional qualifications to suit people of all ages, abilities and interests.

Sam Parrett OBE, Principal and CEO of London South East Colleges, says: “We are absolutely delighted to see our students rating their university experience at London South East University Centre so highly. We pride ourselves on high quality teaching and learning – so it is fantastic to see the students agreeing with this in an independent, national survey.

“It is also encouraging to see Further Education colleges competing successfully with traditional universities. We offer flexible, cost effective and high quality Higher Education pathways - helping people of all ages, from all backgrounds, to obtain degrees and professional qualifications.

“Working collaboratively with our partner universities and hundreds of employers ensures we offer our students a career-focused experience – resulting in over 95% of them entering higher skilled jobs after graduation.”

The University Centre was also awarded a Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Silver Award earlier this year - reflecting the high quality of teaching, learning and outcomes for students.
